There are some guilds who do start in one game and split after a while over several games, but still remain as a big community. So people within the "same" guild would play for example WoW and/or Warhammer. Would it, in future, be possible to keep those combined in the website, too?
This is a feature we are considering (it has been labeled it "Guild Networks" in our issue tracker and we've been looking at it for a few months now), there is actually two parts to this feature:
A "Guild Network" would be multiple sites for different games a single guild plays, that need to be tied together well.
A "Guild Alliance" would be multiple sites for different guilds that are allied with your guild, that need to be tied together well.
We are looking at supporting both of these situations with the Permissions update or shortly after it.
We initially looked at ways your guild can have multiple games on one site, but really that seems to not work well; its better to have multiple sites, one for each game, and then tie them together better, so thats what we are working towards.
So some examples of how that would work is your who's online list would show who's on each of your networked sites, you could send pms to members in other networks from any site, forums could have permissions for networked members, etc. =)

Thanks

They may not be in the realm war site yet, and should appear soon; I just checked and you are showing up now on it - http://apocalypse-pony.net/characters/67735 =)
so are a number of my guildies :)
Ah thank you for reporting this, it is now fixed =)
I've started playing around with the free trial and can't seem to get the character profile to work. I've noticed on some of the guild websites it works for some and other guild sites it doesn't. I'm not sure if it was setup correctly but I filled out the server name under guild settings and set the game to warhammer online. Anyone else having any problems?
The War Char Profiles require a lookup to be made to Warhammer's Realm War site; currently, their site can perform quite slowly, due to them just launching and quite a few different sites already making scripts to interact with their site; if their site does not respond in 10 seconds it will timeout, and show the "Character not found" message.
Since new characters you add will require 2 hits to their site, one to search and find the id of the character, and another to grab the profile, there is a good chance it may timeout until they improve the performance of their site some.
In the near future they will be releasing XML feeds and then the scraping of their realm war site will not be necessary and the load times will be quick, so this is a rather temporary issue that will be fixed either by them improving the performance of their site or releasing the data as XML =)
Cheers,
Ah ok, Thanks!
Yes oceanic servers are grouped with north american servers for the main realmwar site so this will work with them also.
It only does not work with european servers at the moment, as they have their own site war-europe.com, but that does not yet have a realmwar page to pull info from.
Aye a user emailed us last night to mention this to us, and we are working to get this added as soon as we can now; it should be coming fairly soon to the live version =)
